Analogue Assembly
Analogue Assembly (working title) was made for the 89th Wild Jam! The theme is repurposed so, as a little computer guy you will be repurposing your mechanical modules to make better and better bodies. You can even use the pieces of enemies you defeat along the way! The wildcard that I'm going for is "New year new me". Since the idea is to be upgrading, shrinking and rearranging your little robot every run! All the code, music and sprite work were done by me.
How2Play: I didn't have time to finish the tutorial so I'll just put this here:
the bottom box is the assembly bay, click and drag pieces to add them to your little robot. The scrap box on the right is used to break down parts into their ingredients. The crafting box is used to assemble parts into better ones. (The recopies are hidden around the map! Though they aren't locked off before hand so mess around with the crafter and see what you can discover!).
Whenever your build is finished, use A,D and Space to move around, guns will aim on their own. Whenever destroying enemies, click on the parts they drop to collect them, next run you can use them however you like! Same goes for when you die. Your parts will drop, click on them to pick them up.
Sometimes you'll want a big tanky build to get through difficult enemies, sometimes you want a small light build to get through tough spots. The amin end goal is to find the override console somewhere in the lab. (It will give you access to sandbox mode!)
